Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders through RYLAAt Woden Daybreak, we believe in investing in the potential of the next generation through hands-on programs that build confidence and opportunity. One of our signature youth initiatives is the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), an intensive training program designed to empower young adults aged 19 to 26 to become the leaders of tomorrow. Our club provides full sponsorship for local participants to attend an annual weeklong residential seminar, where they engage in expert-led workshops, team-building retreats, and networking activities focused on sharpening communication and problem-solving skills. By supporting inspiring young people like Bella Gray—a dedicated St John Ambulance volunteer—we turn our motto of "Friendship. Service. Action." into a tangible investment in our community’s future. It is a perfect example of how our "small club" creates a real impact, helping the next generation find their purpose while building life-changing leadership skills.
