At Woden Daybreak, we believe in celebrating the quiet achievers who make our community stronger. Through the Canberra Region Rotary Community Service Awards, held annually at the Rotary Peace Bell, we partner with other local clubs to acknowledge individuals doing great things with little or no recognition. A standout example of this "Small Club. Real Impact." strategy is our recent recognition of Jennifer Garrett, founder of ‘Mums and Bubs’. Jennifer identified a critical need for new mothers to focus on their wellbeing and established exercise classes supported by volunteer "baby cuddlers," creating both fitness opportunities and vital new friendship groups. Jennifer is a true "dynamo" whose work epitomizes our commitment to Friendship, Service, and Action, proving that when we support local leaders, we create a ripple effect of positive change throughout Canberra
